Results of 2025

Over 23,100,000 UAH (550,000 USD) – the total amount we directed this year to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, civilians affected by the war, and socially oriented initiatives in healthcare and education. Since 2022, the total amount transferred to help the Ukrainian army and Ukrainians has exceeded 5,500,000 USD.

Our primary focus has been on supporting military personnel and colleagues serving in the military. We aimed to provide help where it was needed most, working closely with multiple brigades and units operating in the Kherson, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and other regions.

We also supported internal programs focused on the reintegration of service members and veterans also contributing to the development of IT education for veterans through our joint initiative with Sigma Software University – “Knowledge Is Shield.”

As part of the company’s Big Birthday Fundraising, we raised over 675,000 UAH (15,500+ USD) for the UNBROKEN Rehabilitation Center.

Additionally, we supported Star for Life Ukraine, a foundation that helps teenagers from across Ukraine gain access to technology education, take care of their well-being, and build confidence during these challenging times for the country.

Christmas Fundraising for the Battalion “Mars” is Complete

Together, we raised UAH 265,000!

This Christmas, we wanted to bring a touch of Christmas warmth, sense of home and care to our defenders on the frontline. Starting in late November, we raised funds for a traditional Ukrainian dinner and a drone ground control station for the battalion “Mars”.

The Christmas dinner took place on the eve of the holiday. Despite the battalion’s redeployment, we managed to deliver a traditional Ukrainian meal to our defenders along with coffee and our warm wishes.

Our main gift – a UAV ground control station – was ordered, purchased, and delivered to the military unit.

The campaign was supported in countless ways and from different cities and countries – through donations, participation in charity workshops and auctions, sharing the initiative on social media, preparing homemade treats for charity fairs, and offering truly special, heartfelt auction lots.

Thanks to your incredible involvement, we not only reached our goal but exceeded it. We raised more than planned and soon we’ll share updates on the second part of our gift for the battalion “Mars”.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who found the time, opportunity, and willingness to contribute. This is how small actions come together to create a big victory.

Inspired by our Unity!

UNBROKEN KIDS: Fundraising Wrapped Up and Holiday Gifts Delivered

On St. Nicholas Day, Sigma Software Unity Fund together with Sigma Software transferred 24,000 UAH to UNBROKEN, raised through a joint fundraising for UNBROKEN KIDS.

These funds will contribute to a major initiative – the construction of a rehabilitation playground for kids at the UNBROKEN Center at St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital in Lviv.

The playground will help children regain mobility with prosthetics, practice wheelchair skills, improve coordination and balance, play and socialize in a safe, accessible environment.

UNBROKEN is already planning the construction start date.

We are grateful to everyone who supported the fundraising and took part in the charity run. Thanks to your support, this initiative is coming to life.

On St. Nicholas Day, we also brought holiday gifts to young patients of the hospital – to add a little warmth and joy. Together, we create kindness that heals.

RISEverse Conference: A New Era of Charity

Early December, Serhii Yevdokymov, Head of the Sigma Software Unity Fund, took part in the Future of Giving panel discussion held as a part of the RISEverse: A New Era of Charity conference. The event brought together more than 200 participants from the nonprofit sector, business, and volunteer communities.

Together with representatives of charitable foundations and volunteer initiatives, the discussion addressed pressing challenges facing the sector.

Serhii emphasized the importance of investing in education – particularly veterans’ education – as a basis for resilience, recovery, and Ukraine’s sustainable future.

He also highlighted different approaches of military support: from fast, one-off solutions addressing urgent needs to long-term, systemic projects that enable stable and predictable support.

PR Market Awards 2025 Recognition – “Corporate Foundation” Category

Our case has been recognized at the PR Market Awards 2025!

In October, Sigma Software Unity Fund took part in the prestigious PR Market Awards 2025 in the “Corporate Foundation” category.

Our case tells the story of how we gave up company birthday gifts and turned the occasion into a powerful platform for charity.

The Idea of making Sigma Software Group’s birthday truly meaningful grew into a large-scale initiative that united thousands of people: colleagues, clients, partners, and the entire IT community.

Together this year, we raised over 650,000 UAH for the UNBROKEN medical rehabilitation center near Lviv – a place where Ukrainian defenders recover and return to active life.

Thank you to everyone who supported us with votes. This case is about unity, corporate spirit, and shared values that bring people together around meaningful action.

Results of the Year 2025

Dear incredible community,

Throughout the year, each of you — colleagues, partners, clients, friends, and followers — has supported our fundraisings, initiatives, and partner projects. Thanks to you, our defenders can carry out their missions more safely and with greater comfort — and for some, your support has quite literally been life-saving.

This year, we directed more than $500,000 toward supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians affected by the war. As in previous years, our primary focus remained on supporting the military.

We purchased and delivered charging stations and batteries, drones and components, anti-drone systems, computers, and various types of IT equipment and electronics. We also contributed to the purchase of ambulances and off-road vehicles, vehicle repairs, 3D-printing materials, gear, Starlink systems, and more.

In 2025, we shared our expertise at 15+ events — including conferences, meetups, and community gatherings — and either joined or launched our own 10+ fundraising campaigns and charitable initiatives.

One of our key partnerships this year was with UNBROKEN, one of the country’s leading rehabilitation centers. As part of our Big Birthday Fundraising, we raised over $15,500, contributing to the creation of a modern physical rehabilitation space for severely injured military personnel and civilians.

We continued our efforts by supporting a fundraising campaign for a rehabilitation playground for children undergoing treatment at UNBROKEN Kids. The funds raised significantly accelerated the start of the planned construction.

Together with Sigma Software University, we launched a long-term initiative, “Knowledge Is a Shield,” a large-scale fundraising project aimed at supporting education programs for the military.

We also joined partner initiatives, including supporting the fundraising campaign of the Boryviter Military School to train 5,000 service members. Our Fund became a special partner of a Toronto TV charity livestream, where our gift — iPhone 16 Pro was raffled off. In just one week, more than UAH 2 million was raised.

Additionally, we supported the fundraising campaign of Veteranka, the first and only community of women with combat experience, helping raise funds for MAUL evacuation capsules.

Finally, we cannot help but mention a special initiative launched at the end of the year — Christmas Dinner for Defenders. Our goal was to bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of home to those spending Christmas Eve on the frontline. We raised funds for both meaningful gifts and a home-style Christmas dinner for the 442nd Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion “Mars.” Thanks to the incredible support of our colleagues and the wider community around the Sigma Software initiative, we succeeded. So far, more than $6,000 has been raised, and the campaign continues. Full details will follow next year.

We are deeply grateful to each of you for your strength and unwavering support of the Sigma Software Unity Fund.

Together, we will win — united by our shared belief in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in Ukraine itself.

Big things don’t end — they evolve.

After the amazing support from the IT community and our colleagues in the fundraising campaign for UNBROKEN rehabilitation center (together we raised over $15,500), we have launched a new initiative.

A campaign to equip a specialized rehabilitation playground for children at St. Nicholas Hospital has already started.

FRIENDLY FUNDRAISING FOR THE VETERANKA MOVEMENT

As a company that supports the idea of gender equality and the strength of women in professions, in war, in life — we could not stay aside from such a campaign.

In September, our Fund joined the fundraising of the only Ukrainian community of women with combat experience – the VETERANKA Movement held in collaboration with the production team behind the documentary “Kuba & Alaska”.  The aim is to raise funds to purchase two Maul ground evacuation capsules for the frontline (equivalent to 100,000 EUR).

$15K for UNBROKEN center. Results of our Big Birthday Fundraising

This year, on the occasion of Sigma Software’s 23rd Birthday, we launched a Big Birthday Fundraising campaign aimed at equipping the UNBROKEN Medical Rehabilitation Center near Lviv. The Center will be the largest facility in the UNBROKEN ecosystem — the best surgery and prosthetics, all types of rehabilitation, shelter and work, treatment with sports and art for Ukrainians who have suffered from the war.

Our Fundraising campaign lasted for a month and united company specialists, partners, friends, subscribers, and an engaged and caring IT community that Sigma Software has brought together around this initiative.

The Sigma Software team enthusiastically supported our now-traditional birthday charity initiative with personal donations.

During the Birthday Fundraising, we shared our knowledge and experience in organizing charity campaigns at one of the most significant IT events in Ukraine — DOU DAY. We made some noise at the event by organizing a charity puzzle quest that brought people together. In exchange for a donation, we gave puzzle bracelets and helped people reconnect with one another.

We organized a charity run with veterans who are currently undergoing rehabilitation at the UNBROKEN Center. Together with our friends, followers, and committed Lviv residents who supported our charitable goal, we ran two distances in Stryiskyi Park — 5 kilometers and a symbolic 200 meters with the veterans. There, we got acquainted with incredibly strong people — veterans; their will to live and strength of spirit are truly inspiring.

We also involved our most passionate ambassadors in the campaign and raffled off our culinary bestseller — Sigma Cook Book. We hosted IT events in our Lviv and Kyiv offices and donated the funds raised there to our charity initiative as well.

All together, we managed to raise 10,785 USD. Sigma Software made a decision to double the amount collected by team members. As a result, a total of 15,554 USD (647,143 UAH) will be transferred to the UNBROKEN Rehabilitation Center’s account. These funds will be used for the Center’s development and equipment.

Only together, we can make the impossible real!

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to our fundraising for the equipment of the UNBROKEN Medical Rehabilitation Center. We profoundly appreciate the work of all the center’s specialists, who go above and beyond to support our Defenders and civilians affected by the devastating impact of the war.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Sigma Software has contributed 5 M USD to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians affected by the russian aggression. As a socially responsible company, Sigma Software has participated in numerous initiatives aimed at promoting social awareness among Ukrainians, shaping a strong international image of Ukraine, and countering disinformation.

We are inspired by our Unity!

DOU DAY 2025

We raised over 100,000 UAH during DOU DAY!

As in previous years, we took part in the DOU Day, a standout for IT community event. During the event, we raised funds for the Big Sigma Software`s Birthday fundraising, aimed to equip the UNBROKEN rehabilitation Center near Lviv. For two days of the event, our speakers gathered full the rooms, while our team was electrifying the event with a puzzle bracelet flashmob.

On the first day of DOU DAY, we held a special event — a meetup titled “The Art of Fundraising: How an IT Specialist Can Raise a Million Without a Fanbase.” The meetup also supported the Big Fundraising dedicated to Sigma Software`s Birthday.

It was a sincere and meaningful discussion that brought together people who are ready to raise more for drones, cars, or medicine, but have a small audience and circle of friends. Around 60 guests joined us at our mini stage — an impressive turnout amidst the vibrant and event-packed DOU Day.

Together with our speakers, PR specialists, and volunteers, experienced fundraisers, and servicemen, our colleagues and partners, we discussed the power of micro-donations, transparent communication, trust, creativity, and teamwork. We also delved into a sensitive topic: how not to burn out when this is not the first or second year of fundraising.

Grateful to our speakers:

  • Nik Zharov, Co-founder, Defender Media
  • Dmytro Girak, Product Manager, СТРУМ | АЗОВ.ONE
  • Iryna Zaslavets, CEO, Unbroken Project
  • Valeriya Donchik, Recruiter Team Lead, Sigma Software
  • Kate Stefanovych, PR Manager, Sigma Software

for practical advice, insightful cases, and inspiring stories!

Huge thanks to the DOU community for supporting our “Unbroken” initiative!

We’re looking forward to seeing the results of this year’s Big Fundraising.

Support of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine

Professionals from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine protect our country’s national interests, counter threats to national security, and perform numerous vital tasks. Participation in the Defence Community meeting

In early March, Serhiy Yevdokimov, Head of Sigma Software Unity Fund and the Kharkiv office of Sigma Software Group, participated in the Defence Community meeting organized by the Kharkiv IT Cluster. The meeting, “Dialogue between Government and Business,” was attended by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov.

The main topics of the meeting focused mainly on supporting local manufacturers of defense technologies, the possibility of fulfilling key military needs, such as communications and countering Shahed drones, as well as solving the problems faced by manufacturers.

Serhiy presented the Defence Builder acceleration program, which was launched last year by Sigma Software Labs together with leading Ukrainian tech and educational companies, KSE, and Buntar Aerospace. The program has received support from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It provides Ukrainian defense startups the opportunity to develop and create investment-attractive projects, as well as have a direct impact on the situation on the battlefield.

Among the key areas of collaboration, participants figured out the development and production of innovative solutions, as well as relevant software for solving current combat tasks, simplifying the coding process, and enhancing communication systems.
“Cooperation between business and government is becoming more and more effective. We’re now observing positive combat examples that work to protect the interests of the Kharkiv region. We are confident that involving Ukrainian defense startups will help effectively and adaptively react to today’s challenges,” noted Serhiy Yevdokimov following the meeting.

Two Ambulances for 60th Brigade

Sigma Software Unity Fund assigned about UAH 48,000 for two ambulances for the medical unit of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
We joined a big fundraising campaign for two ambulances for our military, currently defending us in the Lymansky direction. Their medical unit needs our help due to the loss of several evacuation vehicles. Our Fund donated over EUR 1,000 for these essential cars for the front.
Both ambulances have already begun their service in this medical unit and are saving the lives of our military.

Sigma Software Unity Fund and Quartermaster for Ukraine Join Forces

The charitable organization Sigma Software Unity Fund and the Swedish non-profit organization Quartermaster for Ukraine signed an agreement to define collaborative intentions in their charitable initiatives, defense promotion, and support for the people of Ukraine. This partnership encourages mutual assistance, coordinates joint activities, and enhances the relationship between Sweden and Ukraine.

From the beginning of the war, both organizations have been engaged in charitable activities in Ukraine to strengthen the country’s military potential, help civilians, and foster the enhancement of Ukraine’s resilience.

Since 2022, Quartermaster has supplied more than $20 million to aid the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including drones, vehicles, bags for medical personnel, tourniquets, and field rations. The organization’s activities are also focused on conducting training for military medics and training military units in explosive ordnance disposal in partnership with SWEOD (Swedish Explosive Ordnance Disposal).

The founder of Quartermaster for Ukraine is a Swedish serial entrepreneur, ex-military officer, and philanthropist, Jonas Rydin. He has extended his business interests into Ukraine since 2007. Mr. Rydin is a respected investor in defense projects and now also a Senior Advisor to Defence Builder, a Ukrainian defense startup accelerator.

Since the beginning of the war, Sigma Software Unity Fund has transferred over $5 million to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians. Among the notable projects we implemented and supported were helping Kherson city after the dam explosion, Janika Merilo`s project aimed at finding Ukrainian kids illegally relocated to russia, support of Okhmatdyt Hospital after the enemy shelling, equipment of training room for FPV drone pilots based in hospitals together with “Patients of Ukraine”, equipment of SUV to fight drones within “Shahedbusters” project by Lviv IT cluster, large fundraising campaign in partnership with the Kharkiv IT Cluster to develop a system for protecting Ukrainian cities, support of medical centers near frontline and Kharkiv Rehabilitation Spine Center, and many more.
From the beginning of the war, we have been supporting many military units responding to their urgent requests, such as personal equipment, Ecoflow stations, Starlinks and electronics, cars, various construction equipment, drones, computers, etc.

Within the cooperation framework, both charitable organizations will join efforts to promote awareness and mobilize resources for the benefit of Ukraine’s military and civilian needs, strengthen ties between our countries, and promote global cooperation in defending Ukraine’s sovereignty.

Sigma Software Heroes among us: Serhii Yevdokymov

We continue the rubric where we introduce Sigma Software heroes with their stories of resistance and fight for victory.
Today, we talk to Serhii Yevdokymov, Head of Sigma Software Unity Fund, DevOps Engineer at Sigma Software, and Head of our Kharkiv office. An Air Force reserve officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with 10 years of experience, he started his career as a DevOps Engineer 15 years ago and has become a lead of R&D projects in the Automotive domain.

“In February 2022, I tried to join the Territorial Defence Forces but, unfortunately, was not accepted. This marked the beginning of my way as a volunteer. I stayed in Kharkiv, where each morning I visited checkpoints, collected aid requests, and delivered food and medicine to civilians. I also helped evacuate families from the areas under shelling.

I turned my passion for cooking into a way to help others, preparing and delivering 300 to 400 portions of food daily to servicemen who were defending Kharkiv. Additionally, I organized several humanitarian missions in the recently liberated territories and held charity dinners for my colleagues”.

At the same time, I was also working night shifts at Sigma Software, and sometimes I had to hold meetings during the day while being under fire. Like many residents of Kharkiv, I have more than one birthday – I experienced several close calls during the frequent shelling, but I miraculously survived each time. Thankfully, my colleagues and clients were supportive and understood all the challenges in my working schedule”.

In 2023, Serhii became Head of Sigma Software Unity Fund. To date, the Fund has donated over $4.8 million to help the Ukrainian Army and civilians.

“When I was invited to lead our Fund, I didn’t hesitate because I understood that in this position, I would be able to do much more for our defenders on the front line”.

In 2024, Sigma Software Unity Fund allocated about $700,000 to support the Army, strengthen the city’s security, restore infrastructure, and assist civilians.
Nothing can prevent Serhii from being an innovator and from contributing to the promotion of Ukraine as a strong IT hub and a country where unique technological innovations are born. At the beginning of the war, he created a multimedia alarm notification system based on a traffic light and an information board that displayed enemy losses.

Last year, he developed and presented a unique predictive maintenance solution for brake pad wear, which aroused great interest at the international exhibition of the Electronica Fair in Munich.
Now, Serhii willingly shares his experience at different conferences and acts as a mentor to colleagues.
As a volunteer and Head of Sigma Software Unity Fund, Serhii has been marked with special gratitude from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine for his volunteering activities and personal contribution in supporting Ukrainians and Ukraine.

People who inspire us are present within our communities.

Let’s support Serhii Yevdokymov — a nominee for DOU Award!

For the second time, DOU has established the Award, which recognizes initiatives, projects, and personalities who bring our victory closer, build the Ukrainian IT community, and are the engine of the technological development of our country. Serhii Yevdokymov, Head of Sigma Software Unity Fund, was shortlisted in “They Inspire” nomination.

We wish our nominee victory and are keeping fingers crossed! Let’s vote for this dedicated volunteer, talented innovator, and passionate cook who helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians, promotes Ukraine in the international IT market, and is a leader who unites people!

We are united by Victory and inspired by Unity!

Results of the year 2024

December is a traditional time to summarize the year which is coming to an end.

Serhii Yevdokymov, Head of Sigma Software Unity Fund, recollects the activities, projects, and accomplishments of the Fund in 2024.

“Since 2022, the total amount transferred to help the Ukrainian army and Ukrainians has exceeded $4.8 million.

In 2024, the company, fund, our partners, and colleagues allocated ca $700,000 to various projects aimed at strengthening city security, restoring infrastructure, assisting civilians, and supporting the army. This year, we mainly focused on the needs of the Armed Forces and responded to numerous urgent requests. Among them were equipment for defenders, Starlinks and electronics, different construction equipment, drones as well as Ecoflows stations.

We helped purchase and repair military vehicles for the Armed Forces. Over 100 laptops and computers were transferred to various military units.

Among the most notable projects was helping the Okhmatdyt Hospital —the biggest pediatric institution in Ukraine — to restore and purchase necessary equipment damaged during the enemy shelling.

In honor of Sigma Software’s 22nd birthday, we organized a large fundraising campaign in partnership with the Kharkiv IT Cluster to support an important project to develop a system for protecting Ukrainian cities. We managed to gather about $43,000.

We cooperated with medical centers, hospitals, and volunteer organizations in different fields. We supported Kharkiv Rehabilitation Spine Center, which helps our defenders to recover; gathered clothes for the hospitals on the frontline, and donated blood for the Kharkiv Blood Center.

We helped equip protected educational facilities at KhAI University in Kharkiv and provided funds for computer classroom hardware for a school located in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Despite the hard times we experience now, we are sure that cultural and educational development must continue. Thus, the fund engaged in events and contests for talented youth and launched personal grants for rising Ukrainian tennis and rowing stars who moved to Sweden due to the war.
The Fund also became a partner of “Bucha” movie screening in Ukraine and abroad. The movie shows the world the real history of Ukraine, prevents distortion of facts, and fights disinformation.

We believe in our Victory and will support the Ukrainian defenders in their heroic fight for our country!”

We are United by Victory and inspired by our Unity!
